I have a question, Its an ADP-240AR Power supply. Does anyone know the readings on it to test if its good? I have a multimeter to do so I’m just wondering if you know what it should say when I test it. The fuse blew after water hit it and I’m thinking if I just put a new one back in it might destroy that one also. Thanks
Hi @badatrepair , Here’s the schematic for the power supply that will help. It shows how the output voltages i.e. 12V DC and 5V DC are derived from the AC input supply Be safety aware when testing in the power supply as there is exposed lethal AC voltage on the board. If the fuse holds you will have to check these outputs. If the fuse blows you will have to find out why. If the fuse holds and you don’t have these outputs you will have to find out why not.
