Our clothes have noticeably more moisture (not sopping wet) than previously, coming out of the washer. More moist clothes and dryer taking 2x time to dry was the only reason we tried to observe what was happening. What we saw in the next load is that in the final spin cycle, the timer display will show 14:00 spin time to start, spins for a a couple of minutes, then abruptly acts if the cycle has completely normally and unlocks the door. no error code displayed. Thank you for any ideas.
Hi @allen2020 , Don’t know the answer but does this occur on all wash soil type settings, as this can alter the estimated time remaining display? According to this website the Whirpool part number for the tech sheet for the washer is W10602465. If you haven’t already got it here is a link to the tech sheet which may be of some help. It shows how to get into the diagnostic mode for the washer to check for any stored error codes and how to run the tests for the functions of the machine. I realize that you said that there were no error codes but maybe there are ones that are stored and not displayed unless you look for them. Given that the washer has an electronic control board and not a separate timer control module, hopefully the problem is not with the control board. Hopefully this is of some help.
