water damaged ipod classic does not work anymore
Unfortunately, older iPods and water do not mix well. Sorry to say, but it could be destined for the electronics graveyard. You may want to put it in rice, but I can’t guarantee this will fix the issue. More than likely the mother/logic board was fried, and thus you can either replace that (which I can’t guarantee will bring your device back to life) or chuck it and buy yourself a new iPod. :(
