I have been making a custom Xbox one for my lady and have ran into one issue. I want to power a waterloop internally for the system. I have been trying to find a way to power it without using a constant power source where I can connect it to when the system powers on. Anyone have any ideas?
There is only 2 easy options that would provide the 12v your pump needs to run. (If this isnt a 12v pump, please tell me and we can find different options), From the hard drive power or the DVD drive power. Find out how much current your pump needs, if its only a few Milliamps, you could probably tap from those, if it needs like 300 Milliamps and up, I would not use those but rather tap off the main power coming in and just step it down to the proper voltage needed to run your pump.
