Chosen Solution
now this has happened on and off… ive had the tv replaced completely twice. Id rather throw it through the wall lol… but 5yr warranty there has to be a better solution. Samsung UN65NU6900 This happens on any hdmi port, as well as just the tv. But I can “stop it", if i change to a custom screen size. HOWEVER in doing that, i also stretch/cut off some image… So basically sometimes the edge of a video, or image, retains color from previous, or it tries to “catch up" as it’s a moving line… And to make it worse, if i watchsomething like youtube videos that have an image in the middle of screen, the edge of that image, still shows issues. Not always the case, but its often enough to annoy me. please help me solve this mystery.
Update (12/15/2020) Had a tv tech team come in, explained that with the ps5, its common issue.for them. Console demands a lot, requires a 2.2 HDMI cable which a lot of TVs do not have right now. So its a “struggle to maintain full image". So basically in 2021 im buying a new tv. Prob LG CX OLED or whatever they come up with next. thanks @jayeff !
Hi @fti3 , Don’t know the answer but has the TV got the latest firmware installed? Double check that I have linked the correct model as loading the wrong firmware can brick the TV. If the TV is connected to the internet it may be safer to check and update using the TV menu options for updating. (see p.17 of the user manual).
