I have a MacBook Air 13” mid 2011. I’ve replaced the faulty powerboard (820-3057-A) with a similar but not identical powerboard (820-2861-A) which is actually pulled from a 2010 version MB Air. Now the webcam is not working anymore. Could it be because of the older powerboard? Can anyone confirm before I order a new powerboard?
Yes you do need to get the correct I/O board, The data cable from it to the logic board is not wired in the same way.
