How do I install webcam hardware to HP probook 650 G1 notebook, that doesn’t have camera hardware installed.
Hi @ubuming, Here’s the maintenance and service guide for the laptop, taken from this webpage. Go to p.104 to view the necessary steps and then the procedure to remove the display assembly. On p.108 it shows the removal of the webcam module during the display removal procedure. On p.43 Item #2 is the part number for the webcam/microphone module, 738409-001. If you search online using the part number only you will get results for suppliers of the part.
