I have a Frigidaire side by side fridge and the water is not dispensing. I changed the water filter today and have used a hair dryer on each end but still nothing. I will note that the water is running up to the spout but spout just don’t dispensing anything… any help?
Hi @matlawk Not sure what you mean when you say that “…..the water is running up to the spout but spout just don’t dispensing anything.” So the water doesn’t even dribble out into a glass? Is the water pressure OK at the refrigerator inlet? The water pressure needs to be between 30-100psi so that it can get through the filter. If this is not what you mean and no water is getting through the filter, here’s the wiring diagram for the refrigerator that may help. To get the water to dispense, two water valves have to be operated. The main water valve and the water dispensing valve. It is the same with the ice maker. It also requires two water valves to operate to fill, the main water valve and the ice water valve. Here is what they look like.
