Hi, I have got my hands on a MacBook Pro mid 2017. It has water damage and it was declared dead by Apple technicians. Now I want to try to bring this thing back alive. I have read multiple guides about repairing after water damage. But maybe somebody can help me specifically. I’ve openend the case and instantly stumbled upon some fluid stains, black-ish and brown-ish residu of gin-tonic. Gin-tonic is what is told to me. Is there any guide or website that can tell me what parts are what. Like a circuit blueprint or something. I provided a picture with this post. Maybe someone can tell me what parts are affected. as its clearly visible in the picture. I tried to circle all the stains, but maybe you will find more. And hopefully you can tell me what these parts are, and if theres still a chance to bring it back alive. Fingers-crossed. I hope somebody can help me, thanks in advance. Kind regards,

Pull the board and have it ultrasonically cleaned in a solution of distilled water and Bransons cleaner and you might have a shot.
