My motorola moto g4 plus was damaged by water splash. From then the screen wont turn on nor the charging screen appears Only the white led light appears as i connect the charger. I would give it to the service centre but my whole data would be lost that way I want to first backup my data but my phone is not flashing on the PC storage. Any thing would help!!!
Kepler-b 68 , As Tim recommended, do not try to charge or turn on the device until as this can cause further damage(shorting), thoroughly take apart Moto G (link#1) and using the Techniques for generalized water damage troubleshooting and recovery guide (link#2) to clean up liquid/corrosion from the board and connections. First, stop trying to turn on the device or plugging in a charger. Keep it off. Then follow this water damage guide: Electronics Water Damage If the phone still doesn’t work, there are technicians that specialize in data recovery of water damaged phones. Do a google search, and you’ll find some.
