Managed to get some water damage on the MacBook Pro 13" Mid 2009. The Mac was up and ruining but will not charge. I have tried two different chargers but no luck. Is the computer salvageable ?
@ograul possibly. Remove the board and either have it cleaned via ultrasonic cleaner or use a high grade isopropyl alcohol and a soft toothbrush and clean the corrosion. Only then can you do a proper troubleshooting on the components. Post a couple of good images after you cleaned it so we can try to help you further. Right now I think there is a good possibility that you can still fix it.
