Hey guys, I’ve got a iPhone 11 water damaged. The Screen is working but looks like cloudy - i can change it, no problem. The other thing is the FaceID brings the typical “lower”-Issue. As I guided through the “Rewa fault finding process” on the final stages there is the info “red light is working or not” in my case it is working, but it lights permanent when trying to setup FaceID, while i tested it with my non-broken iPhone X it flashes when using FaceID. Maybe there is a chance to repair it? Thank you
That red light is the infrared dot projector which is what is used to take a 3d model of a person’s face even when it’s dark. I would imagine the projector is damaged or even the circuit.
