Hello, hope someone can help. So I had my iPhone in my short pockets in the sea only walking along but the waves must have got to the phone. Didn’t know until I had took my case of there was a crack around the camera area where the water has got in. The phone was working after I was out of the water but 10 minutes later it the phone was stuck in a bootloop. So I stuck the phone in rice etc left it for 2 days still the same. So I thought replacing the battery could have done the trick but still the same. anyone any other ideas I could try, charging port maybe? any help would be much appreciated. Thanks
Try to restore with itunes but before you do that you must open your phone and clean it with 90% alcohol. Take a look at you tube how to do this. Afther you have cleaned the logic bord and flex connectors hook the logic bord to itunes without cam, screen attatched to logic bord. so only naked logic bord (battery and dock connector connected to logic bord) and this you connect to pc itunes and restore you device. If it gives no error code you can put back logic bord in the housing and connect the components one by one to see if it dfont give a boot loop.
