my iPhone 5, which suffered some water damage few months back. I left it drying for a few months, turned it on and it was working again. In the last few days, since updating the software the phone was working fine, until it ran out of battery (playing music all afternoon). Now trying to recharge it and the phone won’t turn on at all. tried pressing both the power and home button trick and didn’t work. it has worked prior to this incident, just not today. any help would be appreciated.
Leaving to dry was a bad idea you should have water treated it. First thing to try is a new battery and see how you get on. How to replace your iPhone 5 battery
