hi in case of water damage and iphone 5c is dead first i think i should test power rails as: PP_BAT_VCC PP_VCC_MAIN vbus and if no short and voltages are ok , then i should test output power lines voltage of cpu and PMU , but how do i know which are the outputs power lines from cpu and pmu to test voltages ,i have the schematic ,but iam newbie in mobile reparing pls help , thanks .
You are on the right track. I just hope this phone came to you to try and repair not data recovery. Please don’t mess with someones memories, for now try and learn on your own phone or damaged phones bought on craiglist/ebay. A good source of knowledge for the iPhone repairs is Jessa Jones at Ipad Rehab Data recovery or complex repair on the iPhone motherboard requires skills in micro-soldering and good tools.
