How do you Fix an HTC m8 . I dropped it in the toilet . After a few hours my front camera completely stopped working then I put it in rice for over 8 hours , now if you shake the phone you can hear the water whooshing around in it
Any components of your phone can work now? You should have take it apart and then put it in rice. As my experience to tear down HTC One M8, the impermeability of M8 is good, so if you don’t take it apart, the rice can’t absorb the water inside, and the water can’t evaporate. You missed the best time to save your phone, so now, take it apart, dry the water(don’t use hair dryer directly, use rice, cloth and put it in air at first), and then assemble it to see if it can work. I’m afraid you will face a heavy waterdamage problem.
My phone fell I water and I can’t take it apart so I jus put it in rice but ion no how long to keep it in the rice
