@snakebstr unplug your TV and unplug all inputs. Remove the back cover and check the power board for any obviously damaged looking components. This can be caused by a bad capacitor as well as a blown rectifier. If there is nothing obvious you could use a multimeter and check the voltages to the power board as well as the connector the ribbon cable to the main board. See what voltages you get on that.
