I have a Whirlpool WDF510PAYSA dishwasher with a bad washing pump. The dishwasher will fill with water, I can hear the relay click to start the washing pump and have verified 120 volts to the pump, but the pump won’t run. When I pulled the pump, I read high impedance through it with a multimeter (don’t recall the exact reading but it was >1 mega-ohm. I replaced the motor and the dishwasher worked for 2 cycles and same symptoms returned and the new motor is now reading 1.7 mega-ohms. I am processing a return for the new motor and getting a replacement, but my question is did I get a bad motor, or is my dishwasher causing the pump motors to fail?

I peered deeply into my repair crystal ball and it said, “ask again later”.
