I have a Maytag bravos quiet 400 washing machine and it will start the fill cycle, on any setting. Get to a certain time during the fill cycle, and the clock will stay at the same number and continue to fill. All while the drum kind of gives it self a slight jolt. I have installed a new control board already and it still does the same thing.
Hi @chazman17 , Check if the water pressure hose is securely attached at both ends and also that is is not blocked, damaged etc. Increasing air pressure in the hose, due to water rising in it as the tub fills, operates a switch on the control board and when the set level is reached, the water inlet valve is closed by the control board which then moves onto the agitate part of the wash cycle.
