Hello. It Isn’t a whirlpool washing machine, but a Bauknecht FBWF81683BWEU. The story: Wife got electrified when removing clothes from the washing machine.Brought a ground adapter

First run with the ground adapter, we push start close to immediately washing machine starts blinking like a disco, showing error code F08.Nevermind, we turn it off and on again, try to run the washing program once again, however this time it fills the water, spins around a bit but then throws error code F01, (This takes about 10 minutes before it shows up)Stops the program, shuts off the machine, then empties the filter makes sure propel thingy spins around.Plugs it back in and try one more time, error code F01 shows up again after 10 minutes.Digs out the manual, seeking some kind of clarification on what the error code means. F08=heater problem, but F01 = calls support for further information.Call the support.Guy says he never heard of a Bauknecht washing machine before (I don’t know If I mispronounced it that badly?)Hang up, this isn’t leading me closer to a solution.Google a bit, and runs a cold washing program (This works perfectly)Then tries with a 60 degrade program, it fails once again.Leave it unplugged for 24 hours, and try again. Same error message.I think it’s worth noticing that we haven’t descaled it, do anyone know what might be wrong with it? I have a hunch it’s the heater, but I’m not sure when it throws the error code F01.Sadly the 2 year guarantee ran out about 3 months ago. Edit: I just tried descaling it, the washing machine began beeping for a couple of seconds, then quit and re-did it until it threw the error code F01.

Hi, An appliance shouldn’t need a ground adapter to make it safe and prevent shocks. There is a problem if this is the case. Stop using the machine until the problem is found before it seriously injures someone. First check that the washer’s power cord is OK from the plug to the machine. Disconnect the cord from the wall outlet and use a DMM’s (digital multimeter)Ohmmeter function to test all the wires have continuity between the plug and the machine, (if there is an earth then there should be 3 wires terminated in the machine at the end of the cord) After that make sure that there is no electrical connection (use the DMM Ohmmeter’s function) between either of the 2 power pins in the plug or where the wires are connected in the machine and the metal body of the machine. There should only be a connection between the earth wire and the metal body of the machine. If there is a connection between the power pins and the metal body then it will have to be found. Once you find the reason for why your wife received a shock and fixed it, then start on finding out why the machine doesn’t work properly. Having the power connected to the frame etc can cause all sorts of odd things to show when it is operating or trying to operate
