I have a Whirlpool AWZ 908 - 850 washing machine which is front loaded and belt driven. It doesn’t spin when the machine is in the spin cycle (programme C or D). Since it agitates and drains fine, it doesn’t look like the problem is with the drain pump, motor or the belt (and the hose is not clogged). Appreciate if you can share some thoughts with me on what other parts should I check. Thanks!
There’s a switch that activates when the door is shut . On my washer , instead of replacing the switch , i bypassed it by unplugging it and putting a u shaped wire in both connectors, then electrical tape so it can’t short out against metal. Just remember if this quick fix works , it will spin while the door is open also .
