Our two year old LG top loading washing machine model number LG WT7305CV intermittently stops powering on. If I unplug it, then plug it back in it turns on just fine. I have found that if I leave the lid up it happens less often. I’ve run the “smart diagnostic” and nothing comes back. I feel like it’s a fuse. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
@hopeflesslylost wouldn’t be a fuse. A fuse is a go-no go situation. Either it works or it does not. This sounds more like a bad sensor or a bad switch. Since you already ran the diagnostics my prime suspect would be the lid switch. Of course it could always be a bad control board but I would suggest that you take a look at the switch and all the wiring in general. Make sure they are not corroded, the connectors still tightly attached and properly seated.
