Good afternoon, my washer motor runs and it sounds like the drum is spinning but it is not. I have tried it on all spin cycles and bumping it with my hip. Nothing is getting it to spin I also tried rearranging the load and taking some items out of the load. Still no dice.
@bettyboop8025 if it is a 400 model (give us your washers complete model number) it will be direct drive washer. Check the motor coupler between motor and transmission (it commonly fails) Use this guide Kenmore 400 Washer clutch band Replacement step 4 to check on it.
