When ever I plug my mouse into my computer the mouse doesn’t connect but it also shows a warning on the bottom right corner of my computer saying “Power Surge” on any computer. What do I do? Thank you for your time.
Eduardo, Generally that error message appears when there is a short circuit inside a USB device. Due to the cost of repair compared to the price of replacement mice I would recommend for you to replace it. I hope this helps, Charlie B
Your mouse uses a lot of power. Therefore, a short circuit inside the mouse could send a lot of power back into the USB port. That is likely why you get the “power surge” error message, and likely why the mouse isn’t working.
