Hello, i have some “warm up”-issues on my Early 2015 MacBook Pro (A1502). When I start my Macbook, there are some stripes on the display. After about 10 minutes, the stripes are completely gone and don’t come back. The Stripes are run over the screen (from top to the buttom or from buttom to the top). When I start my MacBook after a few work brake again (about 30 minutes), there are no stripes. It’s look like a “heating”-Issue - If the Macbook is “cold”, there are Issues. Maybe there is a issue with the gpu or the display. I have reset the PRAM, NVRAM und SMC. I also have format the disk and reinstalled the OS, but the issues is there anyway. Greetings from Germany and Thanks in any case.

I’m not sure of that ;-} Apple still services them but rumor has it this coming month they will finally go on the vintage list Obtaining service for your Apple product after an expired warranty This is still a sought after system! A good working one and in good shape (good battery) has a good return on the used market. Some people like the older keyboard and it still runs the current macOS. So don’t be so quick to throw the baby out with the bathwater ;-} FYI - I’m banging on a 2012 15” system presently typing this! You don’t need to go to the Apple for the repair you could replace the display on your own following this guide MacBook Pro 13" Retina Display Early 2015 Display Assembly Replacement iFixit has a used display (Grade-B) MacBook Pro 13" Retina (Early 2015) Display Assembly
