Chosen Solution

On the specification panel of the enclosing charger box it has MODEL: 1-36018-04 S/W: DPI-36C018-D02 On the board itself is: PCBC0048-R18 I want to bypass the AC to the board and inject DC voltage directly into the input of the control circuitry (i.e. from a solar panel). I need the board schematic to figure where to inject the DC voltage. Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi @mac2121 , Here’s the charger manual that may be of some help. The model number you quoted is listed on the cover page and there is a schematic on p.13. There is no schematic for the pcb itself only where the AC is connected to the pcb board and on what terminals the DC output is. I don’t think that it is as simple as injecting DC on the pcb and using the charger controls as the charger may adjust the AC input supply to affect how much DC is being supplied to the battery. The schematic indicates that the transformer has two outputs into the charger so it may use both or only one as required, I don’t know
