Yes thank you. Question: 123000 mile 4.0 G. Cherokee just want to drop pan change sensor and selenoid. Told I should not . Because it’s never been changed. But I don’t want to flush and drain all just what is left it’s almost dry. Have to try and do my self. 500 plus bucks mechanics in ny asking. Trying to rip off a woman. Especially during these times and it’s cold.
I assume you are talking about the transmission. You need to see if the fluid is burnt. If the fluid is burnt and you take the pan off and put new fluid in it it is most likely that the transmission will go out. What solenoid are you talking about? What is the problem you are having?
