I need some help. I have the late 2015 iMac but I got mine with just the PCI 500 GB SSD. I was told I can’t add an SSD drive because I got the system built with the PCI SSD and no HDD or Fusion Drive. I really don’t want to buy a new iMac right now since they are making the major changes next year. Any insight? Thanks
If you bought your system with a SSD then it came with a NVMe/PCIe blade SSD. So you can either swap out the blade SSD with a larger unit or you can add in a second drive which will use the SATA port the system also comes with.
