Hi, I’ve got a iMac 2011 27” iMac I’m trying to bring back to life, what happens it will turn on and chime and after about 10 seconds the fans go to full speed and there is no screen image at all. The leds shown are 1,2 and 3. im more use to pc’s but So struggle to work out what’s wrong especially when the fans go to full speed in the pc world that would point to a cpu issue. Update (02/21/2020) Hi, This is the connector on the motherboard

. Also this is the connector on the lcd panel and looks a bit knackered

. I’ve tried connecting to a external monitor but nothing happens but not sure if the lead I have is any good. The ubs port have power (just plunged a rgb mouse in and it lite up), just some guides where saying if you have no power on the usb port the motherboard is bust. Although if that’s all that is wrong then its cheapest option for replacement parts on ebay. Sorry forgot the other 2 photos

I’m suspecting the displays logic board connector is damaged. Take a set of pictures so we can see the connector looking directly into it, from the front and from the side. Post them here for us to see Adding images to an existing question

Update (02/21/2020) You do have some damage which is repairable. The detent tabs are bent so the cable won’t stay secured. Being careful not to snap them press them down
