I’ve watched many videos and followed several repair guides. They all seem to have different ideas for keeping up with the screws. What do I use? Bottle caps. I keep the screws related to each individual step in separate plastic soda bottle caps. I also place the caps on my work area in order of removal. That way, I can just reverse the order to reassemble the phone. I hope this helps just one person!

for an iphone 4 or a 4s use a screw mat, they sell them on ifixit
