I don’t know what millimeter thickness VRAM thermal pads I should get for my iMac 27" 5K Retina late 2014 (A1419 model). Anyone know the answer?
Apple has used a few different VRAM’s which are different heights. Apple moved to a gapping paste (not as good as a pad) so they don’t deal with the issue. I would dry fit the heat sink and then use some strips of card stock to see what is needed to be sure. I’ve got a a few sheets of different thicknesses so I always have what’s needed.
