Hi, I cleaned the whole phone with “96 ethanol alcohol” (due to Covid19 precautions) with a piece of paper. After that volume up, down and silent switch stopped working. It may drop some alcohol inside, but could that damage the buttons and is there any way to fix it? Thanks in advance for ideas and help
Isopropyl shouldn’t cause your volume buttons to stop working. But it may have pushed time dirt into it that may have caused it to jam up. It may come good after it drys up Cheers
I believe the same that ethanol should’t damage / shortcut the lines, but its a fact… After a week no any change, any ideas ?
