Vizio has no picture at all. Vizio logo does not light up when turning on tv. Unable to see menu screen with flashlight test. Have replaced both the Tcon and main board but no change. Still no video at all. Any ideas? Thank you

Considering what has already been replaced (assuming that the replacement boards work properly), I would check the power supply, Perhaps you are missing one voltage. There should be markings on the board near the connectors that indicate voltages at each pin of the connectors. Check for the correct voltages at those connectors and report back here with any discrepancies. Dan

I have the same issue “Vizio m50-c1 has no picture but has both sound and backlights”. I followed someone else’s instructions to unplug one of the ribbons leading out of the t-con board leaving only one connected, Did it for both cables and when I unplugged the right side ribbon my picture was restored for only half of my TV so it was determined that the integral screen buffer board was bad on one side of the screen . That is as far as I got it seems I may need to replace the screen if anyone has one cheap hit me up.

If tcon ribbon cable removed and one side works, then search online for scotch tape fix on tcon board and video will explain how to fix the issue.
