Chosen Solution
My daughter brought a Victrola music center from USA and to use it she did buy what she thought was transformer 240v to120v, but it was only an plug-in adopter. Of course she burnt the primary windings. I cannot find out what is the output of this transformer. It is a chassis mount with stamped letters and No. : HJ-48-U1112 and (most likely Logo EW in an oval). Victrola is not any help. If you go to their website on service it is nonexistent. I wonder how they look after their customers. I would appreciate if anyone with knowledge of transformers could recognized the meaning of the figures mainly the output. Could it be 48v and the rest?
