I’m wondering if anyone knows anything about this. I have an iPhone 5c that had a broken screen. I bought a replacement for it and installed it. I’ve done many replacements before so I know what to do. The connectors don’t have any oils from my fingers and they are properly seated onto the logic board. When turning the phone on the LCD works properly but after a few seconds faint ghost like red lines appear and gradually darken to a blood red color that takes up the whole screen. It doesn’t do this when on white backgrounds. When on black backgrounds the lines show up blood red and on any other screen they slowly darken. I’m wondering if this would be a bigger problem with the board or just a faulty screen. If you know anything please let me know. Thanks
You will need to either test the screen on another 5c to confirm it is faulty or test another screen on your 5c to see if it is showing the same issues which would indicate that the problem is likely with the logic board
