I have a LG 65uj7700 4k UHD. Soon as I plug it in to the wall I get vertical lines on the screen mostly gray with a tad of color can’t cut the tv on or off and it won’t do anything? Trying to figure out if someone knows enough to tell me what board is bad I have took the power board out but can’t find anything that looks bad.
It could still be under warranty: http://www.lg.com/ca_en/support/warranty I would check with LG for the warranty before I did anything to it.
@peyto that does sound like a variety of issues. It should not come one by just plugging it in unless you have a short circuit on the power board. Your vertical lines could originate from a T-con error. It might help if you post some good pictures of what your screen display, of all of your boards as well as how the connect on your TV, with your question. Use this guide Adding images to an existing question That way we can see what yuo see. You will need at least a multimeter to work on it.
