The screen started with vertical lines, the. It shut itself off after a minute. I took off the back to see if there was any obvious damage. No. I used a hair dryer on cool to blow away any dust. Now it won’t even turn on?! Did I kill it? Can someone please tell me if I can fix this or do I need a new tv? Model TC-P50X1
Hi, Is the TV Power light on when the power is connected to the TV? Does the TV Power light show a blink code pattern when you try to turn on the TV? Here’s the start of the Troubleshooting section in the service manual that may help to determine what is wrong. You will need to have and know how to use a DMM (digital multimeter) to find out what is wrong with the TV. Hopefully a start.
