I have a Samsung TV (Model No: UA46D5500RR) which has now started showing vertical lines on the screen. The screen is just filled with those lines. TV: Samsung 46’’ Model No: UA46D5500RR I am also attaching the image below. Update (11/06/2018)
My bad. Here is the image of the lines on my television.
Safal Verma that could be an issue with either the T-con board or the main board. It will depend on what those lines look like. Use this guide Adding images to an existing question to add some pictures. As a general rule, if you press the menu button and you can still see your menu properly, it is your T-con board. If not then it’s your main board. It is not an exact diagnostic but it gives you an idea. Again, it will all depend on what it looks like since there is always a chance that this is a bad panel (unlikely unless it got damaged)
This problem is not the boards unless you are taking about the circuit board connecting the TCon to the panel with the COF tabs. The scan and discharge voltages may have changed due to component deterioration. There are ways to adjust these circuits by changing the bias on the ‘Ref’ pins. Sad that Samsung hasn’t sent out a solution to this problem.
I have it to it was a ghost imagine then it had vertical lines
