Chosen Solution

I have a 55 in TCL roku TV. I watched it one night and it was fine. The next morning, when I turned it on, instead of the regular start up and menu picture, they were replaced by vertical lines colored in association with the picture that should have appeared. I have since replaced the main, power and wifi boards in hope that would solve the issue. However, the picture remains as only vertical colored lines. How can I fix it? What do I need to do now?

Rachael Francis we will need to know the exact model number for your TV. Also, post some good pictures of what your screen shows you. Since you replaced all common boards for this already you do not have very many options left. Double check all your ribbon cables. Check for tears, bend contacts and corrosion. You may even consider changing those. After that the issue is directly related to your LCD driver board which is usually a “thin, long” board connected with very fine ribbon cables to the LCD panel. This board cannot be removed by the normal DIY’er but check it for burned looking components etc. post some images of that as well. Adding images to an existing question - iFixit Repair Guide
