I need help when i move the laptop screen it kinda shows a flash and then colorful vertical lines appear but tampering with the laptop screen by moving it up and down gets rid of it.Someone help explain why this happens on lenovo laptops
Could be the cable on the hinge side that is getting worn. Try moving the lid to and fro and see if that alters the display - either better or worse. If so start there with replacing the LCD cable or check the connection.
It seems that a part/s of the monitor are unstable or loose. you can try opening up the screen to inspect but please make sure to look up a disassembly guide of the screen type e.g. amoled, tn, ips, beforehand. otherwise i would guess that Lenovo didn’t pay a reliable monitor supplier unless this is an isolated case, but either way i think the screen is close to dieing.
