I swapped my 27" iMac 2019 model ’s HDD to Samsung 1TB SSD. Original aim is successful and the iMac is blazing fast now. I connected it back and closed the iMac. When I powered up there was a black vertical line on the left of the screen. I changed the Lvds cable but still the same issue. Any help would be much appreciated thanks.
Ouch! Sadly you managed to damage the display in the process of taking it off. Either you used a tool which went in too deep or you pried up a bit too hard. Don’t feel bad the first one I worked on (before we even had the guides or proper tools) I messed up too!
