Hi! I have a vented Candy tumble dryer, model CSVV9LG, and something curious is happening. I didn’t use it for 3 days and when I had to use it again, I’ve noticed that when I select any program it spins for about 5 seconds and then it stops (the tumble works perfectly), this happens over and over during the whole drying cycle, BUT, when it comes to the “cooling” cycle part, it keeps spinning without stopping, like it should do… So I’ve noticed that it won’t heat so I suppose that’s why it keeps spinning and stopping but when it comes to the cooling part, it works like a charm. Every time it starts and stops I hear something like a “click” at the front top part of the machine but I couldn’t find what could be making that sound… I’ve tried with full load, small and even empty, it keeps doing the same. Although, if I use the Candy Simply Fi app to make a diagnosis of the tumble dryer, it heats!! It just doesn’t heat while using a drying cycle but with that test it works… What could be wrong?? If there was the thermostats I think it wouldn’t heat at all, not just on the diagnostic cycle… Thanks in advance! :)

Your problem is indicative of a defective thermistor. Do you get any error codes after you run the diagnostic? Testing a thermistor: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SlOL9uVP… Diagnostics: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W62MlTwe

@dianaoliveira this “If there was the thermostats I think it wouldn’t heat at all, not just on the diagnostic cycle “ is right. If it would be any of those components it would not heat up. This sounds like an issue with either the program or the interface board. Let’s see if we find a tech sheet or a manual.
