My phone stopped working. A third party that’s partnered with Apple told me the logic board is only getting a trickle of power. Is it salvageable? I would really like to get the information of off the phone (mainly pictures). Can I use the three main chips on a different logic board? If so, can the replacement logic board be locked since I am replacing with my chips? I’ve also seen blank logic boards.
If data is important. Take it to someone that is professional at data recovery for iPhones. Medion iPad rehab offers mail-in service for these. I wouldn’t do it myself without the tools and experience. The tools itself is easily going to cost over hundreds and transferring chips is no easy task.
