Hey. Just got a used iPhone 6s. The home button barely clicks when you touch it, but seems to work, feels like it’s frozen. It barely clicks but works. It there a way to fix this ? I know the fingerprint sensor can be a pain with replacing and have read the home but ton can’t be swapped out since it coded to the motherboard from Apple and touch ID won’t work unless it’s brought to apple to fix. Is there a way to just replace the part that CLICK below the home button without repacking the fingerprint part of it????

Just reseat the screws. Two turns are more then enough. if that doesnt work maybe your right and the clicker is worn out. You could just place a new clicker on it. It wil work fine. You can order them online or just get it of a old Iphone 4 or something.

yes what Ronaldo said, take it apart and reseat it if you have the tools and knowledge, there are lots of guides on here, but always remove the battery first, press the power to drain removing energy in phone and proceed. Many avoid this step and its all on preference and experience. i have seen many back light loss due to not disconnecting the battery but carefully try and reseat the home button, sometimes screens are replaced and home button not placed back center correctly, ensure metal back plate is placed correctly on home button.
