My battery swelled up and I replaced it however the usb ports/trackpad/headphone jack is still not working. I read that when that battery starts to swell up it can pull on a flex cable or something causing it to stop working. I can’t find a guide or anything to fix this
I would reseat the ribbon cables closest to the battery. As seen in the guide for battery replacement for this device. Such connectors should be accessible once the back cover is taken off.
