My Macbook Pro 2012 got dropped with a cord plugged into the USB port. The cord got bent and now whenever I wake it up or restart it it gives me a “USB accessories disabled” notification. One port works for charging, but I can’t plug my mouse into it. The other one doesn’t work at all. Is this something I could fix?
Sadly all of the ports but the MagSafe is mounted on the main logic board so a good bang to the ports can damage them. You might find someone with the needed skills to patch your board and if needed replace the damaged components. Your other option is just replacing the logic board.
