Chosen Solution

I have an Asus s501. Since last month my usb ports doesnt reconize anything. My usb port can charge my phone etc but it does not reconize anything. I tested Win10 and even in Linux Mint, same problem. When I I boot Linux mint here what it shows

Hi, For the USB problem, check the setting in BIOS > Security > USB Interface Security is unlocked. What do you mean by not power off? When shutting down normally in Windows i.e. Start > Power > Shutdown it doesn’t turn off? Does it do this OK in safe mode? How do you turn it off - force turn off i.e. hold Power button for >4 seconds?
