After I updated to macOS Big Sur 11.2.1, I noticed that my right USB-port wasn’t working properly. I did a SMC-reset, NVRAM/PRAM reset and a factory reset. What happens is that when I plug something into the right USB-port, it works well for about a minute (my hard drive can be seen as a destination). After a minute or so, I get the error message “USB Accessories Disabled. Unplug the accessory using too much power to re-enable USB devices” and it gets ejected instantly. I tried having nothing plugged in after a reboot, and the error message still shows up. It has to be a software issue, right? I never had a problem like this until I updated. I also tried booting into safe mode, but the error message keeps popping up even though I have literally nothing plugged in.

I would first see if replacing the MacBook Pro 15" Retina (Late 2013-Mid 2014) I/O Board Data Cable following this guide MacBook Pro 15" Retina Display Mid 2014 IO Board Cable Replacement solves it, otherwise you’ll need to replace the MacBook Pro 15" Retina (Late 2013-Mid 2014) Right I/O Board its self. That should fix it.
