The 2 USB C ports on my MB Pro suddenly stopped working. It does not recognize any devices. However when I insert the power in it - the Mac will charge. I’ve tried SMC & PRAM resets but no change. Any ideas? M
Sadly your logic board needs repairs! The Thunderbolt controller chip (one of the light blue marked chips here) will need replacement. The one on the left is for the righthand ports.
The power is managed by a different chip marked in green here
Which is why your system is still able to be charged/run from either side.
