Hi, I tried to replace the USB-C board on my MacBook Air 2019 (13”) but I noticed there are these thin “foam” cushions or brackets around the 2 USB connectors on the board. Transferring them from the old board is impossible - they can’t be removed without drestroying them. Where can I get spares? Or are there suggestions for alternative materials? Thank you very much! T
The best you can do is wedge some yarn into the gap. The foam pieces are not available as a spare.
